Texas Holdem Poker manners or Texas Holdem Poker etiquette. Means to play poker with a proper conduct acceptable to all. Over the years there has been some standard points of conduct while playing, the most important is to have class while you're playing. No verbal threatening or abusive language, be polite. Wait for your turn and don't needlessly stall the action of the game.
Be respectful of the dealer. Down expose your cards until the showdown. Don't splash the pot (throwing your chips in a reckless matter which is hard to count). Don't offer to help others, or asked others for help. Ask the dealer for help only. If unsure of your hand let the dealer read it. And lastly a real big one-If you are not in the hand be quiet! Any talk that can spoil the pot or slow down the game is greatly look down upon.
