BETTING
Betting In a $1/$2 dollar game for example: the first two betting rounds bets and raises are at the lower limit of $1. Last 2 rounds bets and raises are at the higher limit of $2. During each individual betting round there are a maxim of four bets one player can make. This would be a bet, a raise, a re-raise, and a cap. The cap is the final raise a player can make. A marking device called a dealer button is moved around the table to keep track who is to start the betting. The dealer button moves to the left of the players at the end of the rounds. The player to the left of the button is to post a small blind before receiving his pocket cards. The small bind is half the lower limit bet. The player to the left of the small blind person is to post a big blind before receiving his pocket cards. The big bind is the lower limit bet. The purpose of the blind is to seed some money into the pot early. The first player to the left of the button is first to bet on each round until the game is over and the dealer button is move to the next player.
PLAYING
The dealer deals each player 2 cards face down called hole cards.

There is a first round of betting.

The dealer places 3 cards face up for all to see these are community cards and these 3 cards are called the Flop.

There is a second round of betting.

The dealer places a 4th card on the table face up, this card is called The Turn.

There is a third round of betting.

The dealer places the 5th and last community card on the table, this is called The River.

There is a final round of betting.

The winner is reviled after the final betting round during "The Showdown" A player may use any 5 card combination from among the community cards and personal hole cards.
